Piero Dusa is an award winning writer. Dusa has consulted and done coverage on many scripts throughout his 25 years in the industry. As an actor, a coach, director and writer, Piero Dusa has a specific approach to effective storytelling within the script format. Dusa's focus on teaching "preference" is in-line with his personal belief that action does indeed flow from character. Dusa offers private consultations that will benefit any writer that wants to sculpt "character-focused" story. Consultations are tailored to the client, whether you are in the brainstorming phase, or on our 4th re-write.
How We Can Help You:
We do detailed analysis of your script; looking at the consistency of your plot choices and how they affect the structure of your story. We breakdown your characters and how their preference controls their motivation. We make sure all your characters have unique voices, intentions and can be identified by tone-specific dialogue. We will review your script, dissecting your choices to ensure they are the strongest choices given the specific situation. We will also assist in creating set-ups and detailed actions, so the reader will be engaged from the beginning. We help create a strong log-line that will hook your pitching audience and a synopsis that will create a powerful impression.
Getting Started
- Email us a short background of yourself, your writing experience and what you would like to accomplish. Include the logline and the synopsis, if you have one.
- We will review all of your material, if scheduling allows and we feel we can be of service, we will contact you to begin the process. If for whatever reason, we're unavailable, we will point you in the right direction and refer you to someone else who is more suitable for your project.

Once we both agree on the schedule and fees, a payment will be made securely through PayPal. Our team will then dissect your script and send you specific written notes either in the script itself or in a separate document. If so desired, we can meet either in person or via Skype or iChat, for an in-depth consultation.
